3 days, 3 destinations, 3 musketeers? (oo kasali to talaga! You'll see..)

Naku! Inamag na ang blog ko. hahah! I think this is the longest time na missing in action ako from cyberspace. After my birthday trip with my mom, natambakan ako ng work dahil sa 1 araw LANG na absent. Also, something great came up which I won't share. Baka maudlot pa e. hihihi! (at talagang nag explain e no. haha!) Anyway, I'm so back! I'll be spending my long weekend catching up with the other blogs as well. (Hi guys! Na-miss ko kayo. hihihi!)

I mentioned on my previous post, I've been traveling with my mom these past few months. And if you're going to ask why, well, let's just say namana ko ang pagiging madiwara ko sa kanya. Kung ano man ang ibig sabihin ng madiwara, assignment nyo na yan. hahah! Napulot ko lang yan sa mga tita kong nagchi-chismisan. "Ayan at umariba na naman ang madiwarang mag-ina!" hahah! ganun!

Anyway highway, we've been to Bacolod-Guimaras-Iloilo. Oh no, not to attend Maskarra Festival. I've been seeing a lot of bloggers posting entries related to that. Well bukod sa shu-shonga shonga ako sa mga ganyan dahil wala akong kamalay malay kung kelan sila nagaganap, ayoko rin kasi siguradong taob ang EDSA Revolution nun sa dami ng tao. Sadyang katakawan at purong katakawan lang ang dinayo namin dun. hahaha! (That's what I thought...)

For now I'll just give you a sneak preview of what we did...  Here we go!

Umaapoy! Naglalagablab! Nagngingitngit sa galit! Hahaha! Kakaiba ang haring araw na yun. Ang Hot! hahaha! Anyway,  I was happy at ganyan niya kami sinalubong at least maganda ang panahon.

Akala ko siya na ang Guisi Lighthouse. hahaha! Charot! Watch tower yan ng Iloilo Airport. I was surprised to see it. Honestly, I didn't expect na ganun pala kaganda ang airport dun. Sulit ang 200.00 terminal fee.

When you're not familiar with the place, it pays when you ask locals on how to commute from one place to another. Never kaming nag-taxi dun. Nakaka-aliw. At least it did not contribute much to my expenses.

Food trip starts now!

Yum yum yum! Wala ng mas sasarap pa sa breakfast na to. I had 2 bowls of this best tasting La Paz Batchoy in La Paz Market. Yes. Dinayo ko pa talaga siya dun. For how many years na bang noodles na Batchoy flavor lang ang nakakain ko no. Aba malay ko bang sa Iloilo ko pala matitikman ang orig. hihihi! Great way to start your day!

Ang sarap mag buhay-baboy after. Kain-Tulog. hahaha! Ikaw ba naman makaubos ng dalawang servings no. Kung pwede lang akong pasanin ng nanay ko papuntang Muelle Loney wharf dahil hindi na ko makalakad sa kabusugan. We went directly to Bacolod to spend the rest of our day1.

You've never been to Bacolod if you haven't tried their Chicken Inasal. I ate one at Chicken House South. 

Me: Ma order ka na ng part dali..

Mama: Kuya? Uhm.. Wala ba kayong baboy dito?

Me: Mama!? Chicken House ito remember? Might as well order the food they're known for.

Mama:  Nangenge-alam? Gusto ko ng liempo ok?! Yun ang order ko kuya.

Me: Galit? Galit? hahah! Pitso kuya. Chaka.... uhmm.. pwet ng manok please. hihihi!

We waited for a while. I noticed the dirt on our table. Pwede ng tamnan ng kamote sa kapal promise.  hahah! It's not the one located at Lacson Street. From our Inn, we rode a jeep bound to Mandalagan.

Unfortunately, hindi ko nagustuhan ang inorder ko at all. Pinaliguan ko na ng toyo ang manok. But I was impressed with the taste of their Liempo. Mouth watering. May naidudulot din pala ang pagiging pasaway ng nanay ko. hahaha!

After lunch, we headed straight to Lacson street. Baka sabihin nyo naman masyado kaming hayok sa manok e, hindi inasal ang hinanap namin dun no. Hihihi! Hindi ako papayag na may pakpak na ko pag-alis ng Bacolod.

We tried 3 flavors of the most raved cake in town - Calea. Simply irresistible. Special thanks to Marx for introducing it to me. Kabilin bilinan niya yan. hahaha!

Then we just strolled to check out some of the touristy spots..

Kung pano nakasali sa exhaustion part ang Pension House namin, watch out for that. hahaha! All in all, though I was caught unprepared for this trip, I can say I had experienced the best of these destinations. Still wondering why 3 musketeers was included? Abangan din. hihihi! Trip or Treat?

It's my birthday today! Salamat sa facebook at nalaman ng madlang people. (Walang susugod sa bahay ha. hahah! Sasabuyan ko kayo ng asin.) hahah! Joke lang! I sincerely appreciate it guys. Thank you! thank you! Proud or not, I cannot change the fact that a year has been added to my age (which I won't reveal here).

Again, even if everyone is asking me to throw a party, I won't. (Sa bonus na ha!) hahaha! For now, I'd like to celebrate my special day with a special child.. my mom. hihihihi! Peace Mama. We've been traveling together for quite a while and this coming weekend is another addition to the list. Check out the places we've been..

But our favorite bonding is just watching concert in Araneta which I will not share kahit isang picture. (Malalaman kung gano tayo kalayo kay Sarah and Martin Nievera e.) hahaha! It has become a yearly event at hindi ata kami magsasawa.

Me: Ah thank you mama sa support sa mga kapricho ko ha. Damay ka naman e. Kaya wag mo ko pipigilan ok?
Mama: O sige lang anak! Basta siguraduhin mong mag-isa ka lang din pagbalik ha.

O diba parang eksena lang sa Willing Willie tapos sabay iiyak yung nanay ng contestant at iku-kwento kung gano kahirap ang buhay nila. hahah!

Pasasaan ba at matutupad ko rin ang Jollibee birthday party ko..

P.S. Ang weird lang ng panaginip ko kanina. Sinugod daw ako ng pulutong ng Bampira, Manananggal at iba't ibang klaseng maligno sa bahay. hahahha! Muka ba kong kasapi?!?! lol! What a great start for a birthday. hihihi!

Pitong Hot na Hot!

Warning: This is not a travel related post. Baka kasi yun ang ineexpect nyo e pangungunahan ko na. Hindi rin ito tungkol sa kalaswaan o kung ano pa man. (Nakaka-denggoy ba ang title? hahah!) Wala na kong backlogs sa lakwatsa ko e (as if naman karamihan). Naubusan na ko ng assignment. Buti I was tagged by Gorgeous Mitch to share 7 random things about me. So ako naman feeling artista. Uto-uto lang. Mega lista nga. hahaha! Seriously, I was touched by the fact that someone is interested to know a few bits of my life. Even if Care Bears don't care, may mga ibang oso naman na pwede kong asahang magbasa nito. bwahahah! Sayang nga hindi man lang ginawang bente. Hirap na hirap tuloy ako piliin. hihihi! Joke. Ready? Pasintabi sa mga kumakain. hahahaha! Here we go!

1. I just love soy sauce. Fried egg, chicken, soup, rice, name it. Hindi pwedeng walang toyooo! Minsan nagtataka na lang ang nanay ko sa amoy ng bag ko.. kinukulimbat ko kasi ang Maggi Savor para dalhin sa office. hahah!

2.  I don't know how to swim pero when I'm on vacation mode, you would probably see me sa kahit sang bodies of water. (Well.. hindi kasali ang tubig kanal, alulod at pusali ha! hahah!)

3. Pinangarap kong maging fishball vendor when I was a kid. Favorite ko kasi nun. Nag-level up lang siya into Cashier nung minsan akong dinala nun sa mall. hahaha! Weirdo..

4. Ayokong nagsasampay at nagpplantsa ng damit. Pagsibakin mo na ko ng kahoy o kaya pagpinturahin ng kwarto.. Kahit ano ipagawa mo na sakin sa bahay wag lang yun.

5. I can mimick Shakira's voice I swear. My friends always end up having goosebumps after my prod number. lol!

6. Gusto ko ang amoy ng pentelpen, rugby, paint, nail polish, at ang pinaka favorite ko... usok ng tricycle. hahaha! Ako na ang pinaka-matipid na adik.

7. Ang gulo kong mag-kwento sa personal. hahah! Sala-salabat. Yung tipong "Ay mali.. sa simula pala dapat yun. Ulit! Take two! hahah!"

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang idinulot ng revelations na ito sa mga nakakakilala sakin. hahah! Sinira ang sariling puri. lol! Sa ayaw man nila at sa gusto e, ganyan na talaga ako. OMG! (Oh my Gensan) I chose Anilao over you!

To NAIA Terminal 3 or to Buendia LRT Station? Yeah.. Maybe most of you will choose the first one. Boo me coz I just found myself heading to the latter. So the question is? Is it worth it?

I booked a flight 6 months before for this supposedly another solo trip to Gensan. (Yes I already anticipated I'll enjoy my Coron Trip so I ended up booking another one. Hayok lang. hihihi!) But Chyng asked me to join the trip she arranged coz I might have a chance to meet other bloggers and readers (or should I say FANS of her blog. hehe!) Honestly, we've known each other for 4 years now but we never got the chance to go on a trip together. Who am I to refuse? Shoot! Count me in! Anyway, hindi naman siguro lalayas ang Gensan sa kinalalagyan niya. I've been to Anilao before but I was disappointed with their underwater world so I never really set any expectations on that part. With that, the resort at least must be gorgeous or else Angelina will constantly be on my mind for the rest of my stay shouting "Yaya!! You're such a loser!". Ayoko. hahah!

My father drove me to Jollibee, LRT Buendia to meet everyone. I thought may mahaharot kaming boys but no. Hahah! Nagmistulang field trip ng Miriam College. Exclusive for all girls. Hahaha! Intentional or not, keriboom-boom itechiwa. Few steps lang nandun na yung van shuttle to Anilao. Woot woot!

We waited for the van to be filled up for like an hour (Char! OA lang.) and kwentuhan galore na. The trip took us about 2 hours I think.

A boat exclusively owned by Portulano Resort was there waiting for us. (Nanguna ako dahil alam kong mauubusan ng bubong ang iba. hahaha!) Sorry girls. Maaagnas ako sa araw.

Gladys (untiedescape.blogspot.com) - well.. being a solo joiner, I already expected she would be shy and all. (Shhhh.. diyan ako nagkamali. Oops! hahah! Don't worry girl. Walang lalagan. hihihihi!)

Kath (realidad-kathleen.blogspot.com) - I met her 2 days before. We attended the IMPRINT event. I thought siya yung tipong takot sa tao kasi she's from the province pa pero ako ang napahiya. She mentioned she also attended the event held by the Sole Sisters. Siya pa daw mismo lumalapit sa mga bloggers. Taob ako. hahah! I don't have the courage to do that promise. I'm shy (Sinong hindi naniniwala ha!?)

Pam - Kath's friend. I felt she was the type who wouldn't bother to share a few bits of her life. Well, bukod sa mahilig kasi siya matulog lang (take note, di pa ata kami umaalis sa buendia pungay na siya. hahah!), mukang mahiyain din. Again, I was wrong. Her story was just one of the highlights of this trip mind you. Aylabet girl! Another Shhhh... hihihi!

Saids - nakaka-tomboy ang beauty niya. (pa-kape ka naman. hahah!) Seriously, muka siyang supladita tuloy. I never thought magkakasundo kami. Pang masa kasi ang sakin e. hahah! Char!

Carla (blissfulguro.blogspot.com) - ah eto talaga... maling mali ako. Sa tagal kong naging studyante, buong akala ko allergic ang teacher sa ingay. Dun ako nagkamali. Siya pasimuno. hahaha! Nakakabuhay ng dugo ang energy niya. Fully charged.

See? Girls instinct can sometimes be wrong. (Teka babae nga ba talaga ko?! hahah!)

Shempre dumiretso na kami ng kusina agad agad. Nagkakarambola na tiyan ko. Buffet meals served just for the 8 of us. What I love about resorts in any part of Batangas is the bottomless kapeng Barako. Coffee addict ba kamo?? Oh yes I'm GUILTY!

If you just want a simple place to hang out, Portulano offers a lot of spots where in you can just lay down and feel the vibe of just being out of the busy world of metro. Go ahead! Isalampak na mga pwet na yan!

Wushuuu! hahah! Tidal wave

Gusto ko pa naming mabuhay kaya dun na lang kami sa infinity pool na maalat din naman. Mag-aasin din ang wiwi mo pag nakainom ka ng tubig. Snorkeling din. Ganun. hahah! E napagkaitan kami ng magandang panahon e. Ayokong ihampas lang ang face ko sa bato. We played Jenga afterwards while others are sleeping(?) I don't know. hahaha! Kanya kanyang pinagkaka-abalahan.

They served the best turon. Ang sarap. Naka-ilang request kami hanggang sa sila na ang nagsabing "Ah. Ma'am, actually may turon pa po pero kaso para na po yun sa ibang guest e. Mauubusan naman sila." hahaha! Nakakahiya kami noh? lol! Parang mga hindi babae. Then we ate dinner. Ang sarap din ng Malunggay soup promise. Weakness ko talaga ang mga sabaw maski sa mga karinderya. Susuko sila sakin.

"The Venue"

Well this is where the revelations took place. hahah! It started out as a simple chit chat among my roommates Carla, Saids, Rona and I then we got bored and thought of a game. My friend Rona... well... how should I describe her in a nice way na hindi niya ko ipapa-ambush later? hahahah! Peace girl. To make the story short... umabot kami sa "♫Nanay Tatay gusto kong tinapay... shang magkamali ang pipingutin ko.. 1 (clap) 1-2 (clap2x)♫".. Ganung kalala. hahah! Hindi ko na ikukwento kung bakit si Rona ang salarin. hahaha! We had so much fun and we owe it to her. 

The other girls joined us then we played 1-2-3 pass. Kung di nyo alam kung pano to laruin e hindi ko na rin sasabihin. Paki google na lang. Thank you. hihihi! Loser will have the chance to choose between Truth or Dare. Ibang klase yun. Hindi mo gugustuhing matalo promise. hahaha! Ok lang kahit mapisat na ang kamay ko. lol! To give you a sneak preview.. base sa mga ni-reveal nila, let's just say.. you wouldn't think it was just the first time we've met each other. Matutuwa ang mga chismosang kabatak ni Cristy Fermin sa dami ng HOT Issues. I love you girls! I learned a lot and I promise that everything I heard, stays there. Gusto kong maulit to.

The next day, swimming galore ulit. Perfect ang weather for snorkeling. Check out their house reef photos on Chyng's blog. On our last activity, while waiting for our boat, walang kamatayang Jenga ulit.

Haven't you noticed almost all of the picture were grabbed from the other girls? For the first time, nahiya akong ilabas si D10 ko sa harap ng ibang tao. hahahah! Honestly. I've always been proud of my D10. We've been together for like almost a year now and katas ng bonus yan wag ka. Pero yun... nahiya ako talaga. hahaha! Anyway, bida naman siya sa underwater e. Buti di nagtampo. Sorry baby, napaligiran tayo ng SLR e. hahaha!

P2800.00 ang damage sa accommodation per person which includes 3 buffet meals. Pwede na right?

Oh yeah.. before I forgot. May misteryosong nilalang na guest na hindi namin mawari kung babae ba or beki. Promise. Umuwi kami ng hindi natatahimik dahil hindi namin nalaman ang totoong kasarian niya. (Wag nyo kong hingan ng picture dahil walang nag-attempt na kunan siya. hahah!)
