Musical Fountain Show @ Manila Ocean Park

This is actually my first time sa Ocean Park. Sabi ko nga dati, I'm not fond of fish. Malansa sila. Hahaha! Pero dati lang yun. Ngayon I love them so much. Why not a Musical Fountain Show. Thank you kay Marx for sharing it. May ongoing promo kasi if you purchase tickets online. 99 pesos lang, 300 yan pag regular price. Ang laking tipid.

I went there together with my family yesterday. I desperately need one. Parang may Rally. OA? See for yourself. Parang na-ITA ang tao sa park. Hahaha! Nakaka-loka.

If you were able to purchase it online din, wag na kayo makigulo sa bilihan ng ticket sa labas. Dun sa loob kinukuha ang passes. Sa Reservation Office. You will exchange your email print out together with the credit card used with show tickets. We ate noodles sa bangketa. Hindi kami maarte masyado. Pagbalik, stampede na lang ang kulang. Ang sakit sa ulo sa dami. But we managed to get inside na kumpleto pa ang parte ng katawan.

We saw an empty 7 seats. Galeng! First come first serve to diba?" Wala na silang nagawa. hahahaha! Winner talaga ang nanay ko. Ayan magkaka-hiwalay tuloy sila. So much for this... the show must go on.

Wala ba kayong mga kamay?!?! Ang hirap kuhanan nito a. promise!

I love rainbow colors!

Ang pogita
Nag enjoy kami siyempre. Kaya pala daming tao. Dun na lang kami ng picturan

May tatalo pa ba sa Pasko ng Pinas!?

It has been a tradition in our family to have a Christmas Reunion every 25th of December. Last year we were the host for this event. Maraming kulang nun e. I have a lot of relatives na nasa iba't ibang panig ng world. We scratched the old traditional way of Christmas Party and went beyond the usual. Water Sports indeed! Laganap ang sipon at ubo after ng party. Hahaha! It was just this year when our attendance was close to perfect. Woot woot!

Christmas is for the kids... (at feeling kids!)

Iba talaga ang magandang genes...

Cute innocent look..

Naalala ko pa when I was still young.. hindi pwedeng wala akong wallet pag umaattend kami ng reunion. Required yun dahil siguradong tiba tiba ako pag uwi! Now... unti unti kong nararamdaman tumatanda na talaga ako. Wallet ko naman ang nauubos. Huhuhu!

Sa pagkaka-alam ko pambata tong larong to e.. diba kuya Jon?!?! Huling huli sa akto a! hahaha!

Bless po!

Been to an orphanage recently. Chyng organized it. I joined because I really wanted to spend time with the kids. Though I may be on top of Santa's naughty list this year but still Bro made my 2010 a blast. Guess it's time to give back. It's the most rewarding thing anyway.

I once heard a priest told the crowd during a mass, "Even if you're busy but you can feel God is making the time for you..reaching out, would you still ignore Him?" I was on Curacha Mode a week before this event.. working 12-14 hours a day including weekends so I thought of backing out coz I found the true meaning of TOXIC. Wala pa kong tulog nun as in. Fortunately, I was able to submit my deliverables on time. Maybe God really wanted me to go with them. Amazing isn't it?

I was one of the solo volunteers. Unusual. Pero sabi nga ni Chyng, in preparation for my solo travel next year dapat masanay nako sumama sa mga strangers. So Go! Wala akong pinagsisihan. Salamat sa pagpilit friend.

Finally we arrived!
Day Care Center

I saw some of the bulletin pics of Kapamilya and Kapuso Stars who visited there as well. It's good to know  hindi lang pala puro arte ang kaya nilang gawin.

The Venue

Did I mention that the kids headcount is 66? You may also want to know the number of volunteers... muntik ng mag 1 is to 1 ang ratio namin promise. Nakakatuwa! Siguro if the venue can accommodate more baka ma outnumber pa ang kids.

"♫I'm coming up so you better get this party started!" - Jollibee (lol!)
(grabbed from Chyng's Blog)

Wala ng tatalo sa presence ni Jollibee. Oo na ikaw na ang Beedang Beeda! Hihihi! I admit, I'm also a fan. Unfortunately, my ka-buddy panicked when I told her "Padating na si Jobee o!". Bigla siyang na-bothered.

As much as I wanted to join the crowd of Jobee fans, hindi ko naman pwedeng iwan ang nagmumukmok kong little friend. Tutal, this won't be the last time I'll see him, I chose to be with her. Hinihila nya ko palayo sa crowd. I let her.

If I'm going to rate myself as a volunteer, I guess I can proudly give a 9. Ramdam ko talaga promise. Hindi sa pagyayabang yan a. I really tried my best. =)

My ka-buddy (mwah!)

My co-solo joiners (Robbie, Mark, Keeks, Leidy, Me, Jen, and Wylene) nice meeting you!

Kala ko talaga mahihimatay na ko sa gutom at pagod after the party, good thing someone donated this Dextrose-Shaped Water.  Bagay talaga sa mga dehydrated hahaha! Nung nakita ko to parang ayoko ng inumin. Ang cute!

Aside from giving them a Christmas party, they also received food supplies, clothes, toys, party shirt, loot bags and uniform set. I salute all those who sponsored kids. Pagpalain nawa kayo.

Salamat Chyng! Bilib na ko sayo. If there's a will there's a way talaga. Proven mo na yan. God Bless you!

I'm overwhelmed with all the blessings I received this year. Maldita talaga ko dati e kaya feeling ko nun I don't deserve what I have right now. But then I realized, sinimulan lang satin ni God. It was not given for personal consumption. You have to share it. Let other experience the feel of being loved. Merry Christmas everyone!

Wawa Ako

We've been living in Rizal for 20 years now and have heard of Wawa Dam a thousand times. When I was a kid, my playmates used to tell me a lot stories about the place but I was never convinced to go there. Or maybe their not convincing at all. Hahaha! Peace guys. Laro tayo mamaya lol! Since I was not able to pursue Apo Reef this weekend because my joiners backed out, hindi matinag ang kakatihan ng paa ko so I decided to go to Wawa. I asked my mom and lil bro to lead me there. If all else fails, sila inaaya ko lagi. My curiosity prevails.

We passed by the house of an old man featured in QTV who lived here for years alone

cave-like tunnel

Keep going...

I can hear na the lagaslas ng water from here (arte?)

As you go along, you will pass by these men with their kalakals

I saw a red plate on the other side of the rock mountain with a Japanese characters on it. According to Mr. Google, this was constructed by the American Government year 1909 as a reservoir and pumping facility. However, this became a battlefield during Japanese Occupation. Many of them died defending this holding point when the Americans retook the area. I also saw a cave going there. I think it was the Pamitinan cave that they said taguan of Katipuneros of KKK in year 1895. If you would explore the cave it will take you hours. You would still see the words "Viva la independencia Filipinas" wrote by Andres.

There it is! It's like a man made falls.

I was looking for that part where my playmates used to swim...

Maybe not.. I don't think I would swim on this greenish reservoir. Maarte ako.

Camping or Picnic area
The ambiance is like probinsyang-probinsya. May siga siga pa kasi. hahaha! I remember one of the movies na ang manananggal ay nakatira sa tabing ilog. Ganun na ganun din.

The abandoned control center
Wawa Dam supplied for Metro Manila for years but was closed when Ipo-Angat-La Mesa dam was established year 1960.

That's my brother Kevin. Afraid to cross this bridge

beautiful as ever

ayokong mag-green
Sabi nila, may mga nangunguha daw pailalim. Yun e sabi sabi lang naman. I think it was merely katangahan lang pag nangahas kang tumalon sa reservoir tapos magrereklamo kang nalunod.

silip
Imagine what it was like during Ondoy. According to the locals, nagpantay ang ilog sa baba at sa reservoir. Not only that, the houses and nipu nuts were washed out.

Wanna visit?
From Quezon City, ride a Montalban Jeep. Sabihin mo diretso. Literally it will take you to the end of their route. It's in San Rafael. Ride another jeep going to Wawa. Diretso ulit and again, it will take you to the end of their route as well. That's where you will start trekking. Malapit lang naman. Mga 5 to 10 minutes.
