Bohol Bee Farm & Hinagdanan Cave

After ko mahimasmasan sa Plunge ng E.A.T Danao, we asked kuya driver to drive us to Bohol Bee Farm in Panglao for lunch. Thanks Chyng for sharing your entry. It helped me a lot to come up with all these great spots.

We ordered 2 Seafood Platter. That includes... well Seafood Platter... For our drinks, We chose Mango Chiller. That became my instant favorite drink. Definitely a must try. Dessert? I have heard they serve the best halo halo in town, yun na..

Nice setup. Na-tempt akong iuwi lahat yan promise. hahah!
While waiting for our food, we roamed around to take pictures. Takbo dito takbo dun para mapicturan lahat. hahaha! Para kaming na-ita. Ok lang naman magkalat at mag-ingay, anyway it's our first time and I won't be meeting those people who were there too taking lunch that time. Keber.

Who wouldn't want to eat here?

Let's make the title "BFF at BBF (Boyfriend forever at Bohol Bee Farm)" Char!

Sunburn ba kamo? Not afraid anymore. Wala na kong iiitim pa no.

.. hindi ko mapigilan mag MTV bakit ba?!

They also have indoor pools, bagay sa mga naaagnas sa araw.

This is what I was looking for the whole time. Define RELAX.

Food is ready! It's Kamote bread with Honey, Mango and Pesto Spread. That's according to my friend Chyng who went there before.

Yummy Seafood soup. It's included in Seafood Platter by the way.

Seafood overload.. hahaha!
It was my first time to try kinilaw na tuna. I'm not a fan of raw food kasi. Naka-abang na ang Mango Chiller sa tabi ko nung tinikman ko yun, buti it was so damn good. Ako ata ang nakaubos. hahaha!

Brown Rice with Kamote
Hindi namin masyado pina-tira yan kay Michelle. Baka magpasabog ng polusyon sa sasakyan. hahah! Peace girl. Based on experience isn't it? hahaha!

Ito na yung weird na creature. Shrimp & Crab? Shrab?
I'm not sure who opened up the topic. Pano daw kaya yan ginawa? GINAWA talaga!? hahaha! Ano yan ni-rugby muna bago niluto? lol!

I was planning to try the Garden Salad na puro flowers pero I had to reserve the remaining space for Halo halo. Next time na lang siguro.

Here it is! Top with Avocado and Cheese Ice cream

Happy tummy!
Hahaha! Since we missed Hinagdanan Cave nung Day 1, before heading to our second home Citadel Inn, dumaan muna kami dito.

Syempre hindi ko kuha yan. Nice one Jeneson Leyva! love it!

There are murals on the cave that can only be captured when your flash is on.
I'm not sure who did it. Please feel free to comment if you know it's history.

Galema and Valentina?

First Communion? hahah!

May mali sa pose mo EJ! Halatang halata o! hahah!

Mich, Rachelle, Me, EJ
Karen did not enter the cave. Sayang. Hindi daw niya kayang itolerate ang amoy. Medyo kakaiba nga ang amoy sa loob. Isa pa, hindi ka tatagal kasi nakaka-suffocate. Super init. Of all the caves I've been, dun lang ako nainitan ng bongga. Parang sauna sa loob.

If you won't be buying pasalubong in Tagbilaran, you can buy there. Maraming mura. I just don't know if the quality is superb or hindi pa expired. Sa mall kasi kami namili ng pasalubong. After that, we went back to Citadel Inn.

For that day, I cooked dinner for them. Nagdala kasi ako ng canned goods from Manila. Yes pwede siya sa airport if you plan to do backpacking too. I-baggage mo lang. That's what I love about Citadel, which I will make a separate post. Pwede ka magluto. They have all the utensils you need. We just bought Knorr Crab and Corn, Corned Beef, isang kilong bigas, sibuyas, bawang, mantika at itlog. Voila! We had a sumptuous dinner.

Karen. Ej and I went out to the beach after that and just had a few cocktails.

Mango Chuva (na-memory gap ako sorry! hahah!), ???, White Russian? ah ewan!
Halatang hindi ako masyadong manginginom. Thanks for the treat EJ by the way...

We had to wake up the next morning for Dolphin Watching and Island hopping pero nakuha pa namin uminom. Mahusay hindi ba? Up next na yan!

EAT Danao: A Proud Plunge Survivor

I never thought I was able to convince myself to do this death-defying act.  Now I can finally say "It is me already! (ako na talaga!)" hihihi! Pero bago yan..sesegway muna ako ok?

I already posted our Countryside tour. You might want to check it out. Click here.

We left Citadel Inn at around 7am with almost an empty stomach. We have bread though. We bought it the night before. Pero honestly, I don't like bread every morning.

From Alona Beach, it's a 2-hour drive to Danao. Scary gutumin mga friends ko. Promise. Kaya when we passed by sari sari store, sandamakmak na Popsy chichirya(only available in Bohol) at Ding dong ang binili. We suggested Kuya driver to put up a mini sari sari store sa sasakyan para sa mga pasaherong tulad namin. Naaliw siya at naki picture din. Ipakita niya daw kay cool RJ, our contact and the owner of ehem ..Innova, Altis, Van lang naman. And he's only 28 years old mind you. Hmmm... Prospect. hahahaha! lol!

Finally we arrived there around 9am. Tense na ko. hahah! I've been browsing for a video on youtube so I know what to expect. Sobrang mixed emotions. I hate "what ifs" kaya I decided to do it. I paid for Plunge and Suislide.

I won't be able to back out kasi nauna na kong nagbayad. hahah!

Sinilip ko na ang mahiwagang bangin. Uhmm... 200M deep. That's equivalent to 60-storey high building lang naman. Para kang tumalon sa PBCOM tower. A person would have to do a 45m free fall bago mo maexperience magswing sa kabilang bundok (OA lang. hahaha!). Ang pagswing ay depende sa katabaan mo. Basta that's equivalent to 70M longer.

Kaya for first timer and with phobia on heights like Karen and Rachelle, I know the feeling.

Good thing we arrived there early. Peace guys.

While we were watching a girl ready to be launched anytime, para kaming pinasakan ng busal sa bibig. Walang umiimik. Hahaha! I checked mine... uu nga. hahah! lahat kami. Nakaka-stress talaga. Makapigil hininga talaga nung nag 45m drop. Parang pendulum lang na winawasiwas sa bangin. Ayoko muna mag Plunge. Suislide na lang. Warm up.

Karen: "Oy hindi a. Baka ikaw pa nga mas maingay sakin e."

Mich and Jeneson was with me when I went to CDO kaya walang MMK na naganap. They loved it. Rachelle however, though we tried Tagaytay Zipline before, and it was also our first time then, she's still afraid. I was planning of doing it alone like I always do, but I saw her crying (at medyo nagiging cause of delay na. hahaha!) so I went with her. Good thing we had to do it twice, shempre babalik sa pinanggalingan. Ang hirap kayang babain ng bangin. I finally convinced her to do it by herself.

I envy Jeneson at first when I saw him brought the cam while doing it. Then I realize after, if I have it, I won't be able to appreciate it more since I'm not looking at the cliff with a naked eye. I agree with my blogger friends, never bring a camera unless you want to do it again. Kaya I availed the picture above. Anyway, it's only 50.00 (+ courage I had + unforgettable experience that I will share to everyone.) Char! Make sense isn't it?

What I don't like about this ride? Ambabaho namin after. Shit! Amoy Anghit! Nakakainis.

EJ was the first one. Bigla akong naduwag. hahah!

EJ .. (Do you agree na may resemblance sila ni Luis Manzano?)
Pictures before doing this act is seriously necessary. We never know what will happen after. Ala-ala ng matinong ichura. We were shocked when we saw him being tied upside down. What The F! Adik ka talaga!

O diba? Prang pinapalitan lang ng pampers! hahah! Joshuang Joshua!
Tarsier pose

The normal way of doing it kasi is in sitting position. I don't know where he got the idea. When he was launched, everyone.. kahit hindi namin kasama, nakisigaw sa kanya. Parang feeling namin kami yung nakabiyabit dun. hahah! Laugh trip talaga.

Hanggang dyan ba naman EJ!? hahaha! Babuy mo! lol!

Watch this clip to witness this horrifying act.. hahah!

Karen is up next.

Well, siguro dahil nakita kong alive and kicking naman sina EJ at Karen after iwasiwas sa bangin. Safe siya. I just have to enjoy the moment.

When the gears were being set up on my head and body,
Me: Kuya hindi ba nakakabaog yan? Parang ang sikip kasi.
Nagsmile lang si kuya sarap batukan.. Lecheng yun, baka nga totoo. hahaha!

Me: Check mo nga Rachelle yung buhok ko... Nagulo ata e. Ok pa ba?
Rachelle: Adik ka! Yan pa iniisip mo ngayon?!?!?
Me: E baka kasi hindi maayos, pangit kaya sa picture

Ayan at nakuha ko pang ngumiti. hihihi! Ang taba ko potek!

I'll be launched anytime.

There I was!

I never told my friends that I felt a teardrop nung humina na yung pag swing. Then I thought about it, akalain mong may kinatatakutan pa rin pala ako. But I'm happy and oh so proud I did it.

Kuya: Kmusta mam? ok ba?
Me: Oo kuya. Ang sarap. Uulitin ko yan.
Kuya: Pwede naman po e. Ikaw ulit.
Me: E wala na kong budget. Libre ba?
Kuya: Opo libre.
Bwisit! hahahah!

We got the certificate with a degree on Fear Management. I'll post it soon.

After that, we decided to leave and went to Bohol Bee Farm for lunch. The rest chose not to try the Plunge. Keri lang yan guys. At least you have something to look forward to when you get back in Bohol. Siguro you'll have the courage by that time.

Bohol: Go to HILL!!!

Hihihi! Naaliw ako sa title. Anyway highway... Yes! Just got back fresh from Bohol once again. That's exactly a month after I went there. Sabi ko sa sarili ko "I shall return" and glad I did. Honestly, my first visit didn't exceed my expectations. Medyo nakulangan ako. "I beg to disagree" yan ang plano kong sabihin sa mga friends kong nagsabing may wow factor ang Bohol. I had to prove myself wrong. So I went...

I thought I will never create an entry again on countryside tour kasi nakita ko naman halos lahat. Kaya lang ibang experience kasi to. I'm with my long lost friend EJ (I'm still thinking if I will make a separate post just for you. hahah! You deserve it.), regular travel buddies Mich, Jeneson and Rachelle (except for Martyn. We missed you there!), plus another new pal Karen.. I super enjoy being with them. I'm happy they're the chosen ones. lol! Oh and yeah, I was the one who organized everything. And I'm so proud of myself. hahaha!

I can't seem to find reasons not to do this entry. Aside from doing this trip with my friends, isa isahin pa natin why Bohol really deserves another blog post.

Nangyari na to dati.. Deja vu ng CDO trip. We were the last ones who boarded.

All aboard!

Let's admit.. we all wanted to be on window side of the plane. And because it's off-peak season, we owned the last 3 rows. Hindi pa man nagtatake off, nagttrip to Jerusalem na kaming lahat. Karipas ng kakalipat ng pwesto. Ayun, our original seats were left empty. Ang haharot. We even raised our hands and shouted upon take off as if we're riding a roller coaster. hahah! Lol! Yan ang tamang trip.

We saw a rainbow from above. And yes, we tried to look for a pot of gold on its end. Hahaha! Bata?!?! Nakakatuwa lang. I felt this trip would turn out to be one of the best. It can change my mood in a snap. Simply AMAZING.

A sign of  rich marine life
It was the first time I saw Bohol's Aerial View. Before kasi, we just rode a ferry from Cebu.

There was this one video going around Social Networking sites. It was entitled "Proud to be Pinoy? Don't be!" Sorry na lang, it's too late. I am and I will always be.

Sensya.. hindi ako maka-move on sa ganda niya. lol! I have 15 aerial shots left. What to do? hihihi!
Touchdown just in time. May nakita pa kaming umeksena. I mean I felt relieved. Gusto ko pa sana panoorin ang jombagan nila but we had to go. It's already 1:30PM and we need to finish the countryside tour for that day.

My friends were surprised to see a placard with "Sexy Maki" written on it. Yun na daw ba sundo namin? Ako daw ba tinutukoy ni kuya? Gusto ata masaktan.

Knowing EJ, alam kong gagawin nga niya yan. Sha! Ikaw na bida! Don't forget to share your experience with us. I dare you!

Mag Aso Falls

It's a rainy season so I set a very high expectations on it.

Picture taking on the trail (EJ aka Joshua, Karot, Mich and Rachelle. Jeneson was off to somewhere)

As usual I failed to count the number of steps.
Me: "1..2..3...22..23.. Ay wait dali maganda dito.. Pose kayo.. "
Friends: (Pose naman. Ang daling kausap. Mga hayok sa picture.)
Me: "San na nga ulit? 20? 21?"

Ayoko ng umulit. Magla-lawa na ang kilikili ko.

Mag Aso falls
Nice and cute. It really has it's own charm though. I was very satisfied that I included it in our itinerary kahit medyo out of way and we added 300.00 fare just for this. Walang pagsisisi. Even though I knew the tragic incident here when a sudden flash flood occurred way back 2009, I insisted to visit the place since it will be my first time to see it. Scary.

Baclayon Church

Can you spot Father Pio's image here?
I never thought may lumabas na ganun image sa church. Ang galing. Thanks Madam Ella for this info. He never set foot in the Philippines but it was confirmed it was him on the wall.

Who is he anyway?
Padre Pio, a humble Capuchin priest from San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy, was blessed by God in many wonderful and mysterious ways. The most dramatic was the stigmata. Padre Pio bore the wounds of Christ for fifty years!

Among his other gifts were perfume, bilocation, prophecy, conversion, reading of souls, and miraculous cures. People are still being cured through his intercession in ways that cannot be explained by medicine or science.

More important, if less spectacular, are the spiritual healings that take place in all parts of the world! Padre Pio is a powerful intercessor.

Hulaan kung anong binili ko.. hihihi!

Bentang benta ang candles na yan. Everyone has their own desires in life.

Endangered tayo remember? Ganun talaga. hihihi!

Prony the Python

I challenged my blogger friend Jeff to pose inside Prony's cage and do what I did. Para akong hihimatayin after.

Tarsier Sanctuary

Mich tried to pose here too. Effort ang lola mo. Nakalimutan niyang hindi kami magka-height kaya kailangan pa niyang lumiyad para sumakto mukha nya dyan. Hahaha!

Chocolate Hills

Me: "Kuya magkaka-size ba ang bundok na makikita namin?"
Kuya Driver: "Hindi mam. Iba iba yan. May cup A, B, C.."
lol!

Greenhills

Ay sh*t bagay! hahah! badtrip..

Night Cruise at Loboc River

We were singing this song hanggang sa paguwi. I will post a video on my succeeding entries.

We checked in at Citadel Alona Inn. Wala akong ma-say sa lugar na yun.. Perfectly fit sa budget namin. Sulit ang pagreresearch ko. Everyone loved the place. I will make a separate post on that. For now, that ends Day 1, Bohol Countryside tour. We visited Hinagdanan cave too, but it was included in Day 2 since nanlilimahid na rin kaming lahat.

Tsk tsk! bad... Tanduay Ice is becoming a habit. hahah!

Watch out for my E.A.T. DANAO experience. I survived Suislide at ang death defying attraction nilang the Plunge. Up next na!
