Day 2: Kingfisher Park - Kubo sa Dagat

So pano dadaldal pa ba ko? hahah! If you're going to ask what makes Kingfisher Park's Kubo sa Dagat unique from all the lodging house I've been to? I must say siya kasi talaga ang pinaka-perfect place to end a dead tiring day. (And I mean the word DEAD TIRED.) Pagkatapos kong magpaka-sulasok (sulasok?! hahah!) sa mga kabundukan at kagubatan nila, I needed a place to make me feel it was all worth it. Ito yun. Oh by the way, did I mention you have to paddle for 15 to 20 minutes from the shore to get there?

Me: Kuya.... Paling ang bangka natin. Hindi diretso sa bahay o.
Enzo: Hay naku mam.. watch and learn..

Ayun. Great idea!

It's nice that I never heard or saw any signs of exhaustion kay Enzo.

It's under construction din kasi nung nandun ako. Guest can actually stay there. I'm just not sure how much will it cost you para sa overnight stay. I'll update this entry if I can get enough details at kung kelan siya magiging available for reservations. Borge, who is the son of one of the owners of Kingfisher Park was there but I never got the chance to meet him. Tulog. Nasilip ko ng di sinasadya. hahah! At talagang chinika ko pa yun e no. hahah!

I was supposed to climb another mountain which is called Lunes Santo. It's a very rare opportunity for me to rest in a hammock so I embraced that perfect moment na hindi sampayan at poste ng meralco ang nakikita habang nakahiga.

I was half asleep when I heard Enzo said "ma'am.. kape?". Just so you know, kaya kong maka limang kape sa loob ng isang araw ng wala kang nakikitang senyales ng epekto nito. Garfield mode pa rin. Happy fat lazy cat. So yeah, pinagtimpla niya ko. Awww.. ang swet! hahaha! He opened the puzzle fruit I was telling dun sa last post. I was surprised to see how it looks. I got really puzzled.

Now I know why it's called such.. hahaha! Ang cute..
By the way, it's not edible. It's as hard as a piece of wood talaga. The challenge there is you have to make a big circle just by using the puzzle pieces. You can glue it if you want but you're just cheating on yourself if you do so.

Uh oh.. hahah!
According to Enzo, it was a traditional toy for the oldies since they don't have something to play with during their time. Even up to know, young ones like him find it challenging so they are still fond of playing it. With this generation wherein most of the leisure involve high-end gadgets and online gaming , it amazes me that this kind of toy still exist.
I was able to sleep peacefully.

On my itinerary, I was supposed to leave Kingfisher Park at 5pm. But I really wanted to see the sunset. Inantay namin ni Enzo ang sunset before we left..

KP offers Starry Night wherein you can see a glittering mangrove trees because of the natural light coming from fireflies. Parang kumukutikutitap na Christmas Tree daw. hihihi! Unfortunately, I was not able to see it since ginabi na nga ako. Ayoko ng sobrahan ang pagiging pasaway ko sa kanila no. I know they're just concern na hindi ako mapano sa daan. Kaya pala ayaw nila akong gabihin kasi walang kailaw ilaw ang kalsada. Yes may poste pero naman! Ga-milya ang pagitan. But wait there's more. Ang classic dun,  nakakita ako ng fireflies along the way.

Though Enzo resides in Malbato, and it's unnecessary for him to see me off pero sumama pa rin siya hanggang town proper. Nakakatuwa. I admire them for doing so.

This ends my Kingfisher Park series. I hope I was able to convince my readers to check this hidden paradise of Coron. If I have a chance to go back, walang kaabog-abog isa to sa mga sasadyain ko. Please check out their website www.kingfisherpark.com and see the activities they could offer. Di lang to pampamilya pang sports pa. (green cross?) lol! As you notice, I was able to create 4 entries for this one day trip LANG.

Please check out the my previous Kingfisher Park Entries:

Climb at Mt. Tapyas and Underwater world of Coron... up next na yan.
